The world around us is challenging, but we have some control over how we choose to move through our days and today I choose to be grateful.

This goes out to all the expats and locals doing their social distancing like champs, missing out on this spectacular time of year.

I don't have the answers, but will offer perspective as an American expat who is living in Japan.
